Terms of Service

Lumzi provides an online platform that allows users to purchase prepaid credits and use those credits to access AI-powered language translation and language-learning tools.

Translations and language assistance are generated using artificial intelligence models. Results may vary and are not guaranteed to be error-free. Lumzi is not responsible for inaccuracies in translated content.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Lumzi. By using Lumzi, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will use the service in compliance with all applicable laws

To use certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Lumzi operates using a prepaid credits system. Users may purchase credits, which can then be used to access AI-powered translation and language-learning services. For a full explanation of how credits work, see our Credits Guide.

Credits:

• Are prepaid digital service units
• Have no cash value
• Are non-transferable
• Do not expire
• Cannot be redeemed for cash

Credits are not a stored monetary balance, digital wallet, or financial account. Lumzi does not provide financial services, and credits represent prepaid access to digital services only.

Credits are deducted when AI or translation services are used. The number of credits required for a given service may vary based on factors including input size, output length, and processing requirements.

Lumzi offers an optional auto-refill feature that automatically purchases additional credits when your balance falls below a threshold you choose.

If you enable auto-refill:

• Your saved payment method will be charged automatically when your credit balance drops below your selected threshold
• The charge amount is set by you at the time of enabling the feature
• Auto-refill constitutes a recurring charge to your payment method until disabled

By enabling auto-refill, you expressly authorize Lumzi to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis under the conditions you configure.

You may disable auto-refill at any time by logging into your account and navigating to Account Settings. Disabling auto-refill will prevent future automatic charges. It will not reverse any charge that has already been processed.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to:

• Pay all listed fees
• Provide accurate billing information
• Authorize Lumzi to charge your selected payment method

Prices may change at any time with reasonable notice, but any change will not affect credits you have already purchased.

Refunds may be issued for unused credits within 30 days of purchase, at Lumzi's sole discretion. Credits that have been used, partially consumed, or applied toward any service are non-refundable.

You agree not to:

• Use Lumzi for illegal activities
• Attempt to reverse engineer the service
• Abuse, overload, or disrupt the platform
• Submit harmful, abusive, or unlawful content
• Attempt to exploit or bypass the credits system
• Use Lumzi to generate misleading, harmful, or deceptive content
• Use Lumzi for academic dishonesty or unauthorized automated submissions
• Use Lumzi in violation of third-party rights

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Lumzi uses artificial intelligence to generate translations and responses. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors
• Translations should be reviewed before use in any official, legal, or high-stakes context
• Lumzi does not guarantee translation accuracy
• Outputs may not meet user expectations or be suitable for any specific purpose

Lumzi is not responsible for any damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.

All content, software, branding, and functionality on Lumzi are owned by Lumzi or its licensors. You may not:

• Copy or redistribute our content
• Reverse engineer our systems
• Use our branding without permission

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Lumzi may modify features, suspend services, or perform maintenance with or without prior notice, though we will provide reasonable advance notice where practical.

Lumzi reserves the right to limit or suspend usage in cases of excessive, abnormal, or abusive usage patterns.

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us.

We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Note that some data may be retained for legal, fraud prevention, or financial compliance purposes as required by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumzi shall not be liable for:

• Loss of data
• Business interruption
• Translation inaccuracies
• Indirect or consequential damages

Use of the service is at your own risk.

If you have a dispute with Lumzi, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.

If we are unable to resolve the dispute informally, you agree that any claim shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies.

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse services, or engage in fraudulent activity.

Users may stop using Lumzi and request account deletion at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.

Continued use of Lumzi after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you initiate a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider, Lumzi reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and revoke associated credits.

Fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized activity may result in permanent account suspension.
